The Atlanta Braves find themselves with some tough decisions a week into the shortened Major League Baseball season. Those question marks all surround the starting rotation.

With Cole Hamels still on the 45-day injured list, Felix Hernandez opting out this year and, most recently, Mike Foltynewicz being designated for assignment after a poor performance on Monday, the back end of the rotation is anyone's guess.

Mike Soroka and Max Fried appear to be the only reliable starters the Braves have right now with some shakey performances by Sean Newcomb and Kyle Wright a week in.

Fried is scheduled to pitch tonight and Newcomb on Friday. So who do the Braves send to the mound on Saturday?

"We still don't know," Joe Patrick told the Midday Show. "I imagine that in the next day or two, we will learn more about who's going to start that game."

"Touki Toussaint's been a guy that's been floated out there as a potential--not necessarily a starter who's going pitch a starter, you know, giving you an outing like one of these regular starters, but maybe be kind of a psuedo opener style."

Manager Brian Snitker said they could go the route of starting bullpen guys for just individual innings.

Joe also said the Braves also have Jhoulys Chacín and Josh Tomlin as options to start on Saturday.
