On Friday afternoon, Georgia Football announced that Todd Monken would be joining Kirby Smart's staff in the role of Offensive Coordinator.

Many UGA fans were not pleased with where the offense was last season, and with a team like LSU evolving their offense and immediately winning the National Championship, they wondered how long it would take UGA to follow suit.

John Fricke and Hugh Douglas believe that with Monken at the helm they are prepared to do just that.

"If you were mad about Kirby not evolving the offense, he either heard that or was smart enough to realize he hasd to take the next step," says John Fricke

"This might be a sign that Georgia's offense is about to evolve, but I didn't have a problem with UGA's offense," says Hugh Douglas. "I still think this is an offense that is viable in College Football. When you have a Jamie Newman, that's the next step."
