Mike Conti


Mike Conti is the Managing Editor of Sports Radio 92.9 The Game, and contributes daily to the station's midday and afternoon shows. Additionally, he hosts the pregame, halftime and postgame shows on both the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network and the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network and is the play-by-play voice of Atlanta United.

Since joining 92-9 the Game on the day of its launch in 2012, Conti has called the 2018 MLS Cup Final and 2018 MLS All Star Game, hosted the station's coverage of the Falcons in Super Bowl LI, and the Hawks run to the 2015 NBA Eastern Conference Finals. He has also handled play-by-play duties for the station's Atlanta Dream WNBA broadcasts, and for the season-opening Corky Kell High School Football Classic.

Conti's two decade career in broadcasting has included stops in New Orleans at WWL, where he covered the Saints and Hornets, at WLOW in Savannah, where he covered The Masters and PGA Tour Golf, and WMAJ in State College, PA, where he covered Penn State Football.  He has served as the play-by-play announcer for the New Orleans Voodoo of the Arena Football League, and for high school championship sports on the Pennsylvania Cable Network.

Prior to joining the staff at The Game, Mike spent four years as the Morning News Anchor at WGST in Atlanta, and won a National Edward R. Murrow Award covering the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina at WWL in New Orleans. He has been named Georgia's radio news anchor of the year by the Associated Press, and has won two Gabby Awards from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters for best sports show.

Mike is a former member of Penn State University’s College of Communications Alumni Society Board of Directors and the state board of the South Carolina Associated Press Broadcasters. He lives in Doraville with his wife, Leighan, and their dogs Fred and Clarke.​
