The Jim Ellis Kia Lutzie 43 Road Race features a 5K race and one mile kids’ fun run will start and finish at Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia.

The race will start and end on Lutzie Field at Lassiter High School. The start line will open at 7:30 a.m. and participants will participate in a warm up and receive pre-race information.

Awards will be given to the top male and female runners in an overall, masters, grand masters and age group categories. We will have bounce houses for the kids and plenty of food, fluid and fun for all the runners and their families.

The Lutzie 43 Road Race supports the mission of the Lutzie 43 Foundation to develop the character of young people and their influencers by focusing on leadership, charity, compassion, mentorship, hard work, honesty and faith through education and real world application. The race brings together a passionate community of Lutzie 43 Foundation supporters to celebrate the life and legacy of Lassiter and Auburn football great, Philip Lutzenkirchen, and fundraise to support the continued growth of the foundation.
