Atlanta United President Darren Eales joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the team’s loss on Saturday to Dallas. Eales said while the result was disappointing, the performance was not. “It was disappointing.” Eales said “We were attacking, getting chances just couldn’t get the ball to drop, whether it was Barco hitting the posts or the goalie making big stops, the result was disappointing but the performance, creating chances that was a different story. You have games that just don’t go your way and we have to bounce back against Colorado.” Darren told the guys they have to eliminate silly mistakes on defense. “In some ways you can’t really work on it.” Eales said “The ball that Pity put to Josef, nine out of ten times he makes that, he just pushed that one wide, but we have to eliminate the mistakes that have led to silly goals.” Eales said no one is the building is happy with losing. “The first thing is none of us are happy in term of the results.” Eales said “The reality is like in every sport you’re not going to win every game, being the Champions you have a target on your back. Any time you change staff you’re going to have a transition period, the positive side is we lost to Dallas but the way we’ve been playing is exciting, and there’s still a vast majority of the season to go.” “There is no interest in moving Darlington. Darlington has been playing great for us, in the modern media people  can just make claims without anything being there
