Wednesday, December 20th
Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn joined John and Hugh to talk about his team’s preparation for the Saints on Christmas Eve. Coach Quinn said it’s been a real blessing to have had a bunch of close games like the one against the Bucs. It sends a message to the team that they’re playing their best ball at the end to finish. Coach Quinn was pleased with the running game swinging wide open on Monday night. He was smiling watching Devonta Freeman finishing runs. Matt Ryan also had a few choice words during the game that ESPN picked up. Coach Quinn addressed that saying he 100-percent likes to see his quarterback get animated. It’s Ryan’s emotion and personality coming out; “that’s him competing at the highest level.” Injury wise, LG Andy Levitre will be back at practice on Wednesday. However, Tevin Coleman remains in concussion protocol. While continuing preparation for New Orleans, Coach Quinn said the No. 1 priority defensively is forcing turnovers. He said they’ll need to limit number of yards after the catch, and emphasizes that the line of scrimmage is where it starts.
