The Midday Show w/ Andy & Randy
Wednesday, April 11th
Paul Mittermeier from WBAL picks 16th for the Ravens in our Mock Draft.. Paul talked about the status of Joe Flacco in Baltimore and depends on who you talk too as to whether or not they want to get rid of him. Bottom line from Paul is that Joe Flacco is a really good QB. Paul told us RB Alex Collins has a good shot to be the featured back for the Ravens this season. Paul mentioned the Ravens will possibly take a RB in the draft but Alex Collins will be their main guy starting the season. Paul discussed the WR core for the Ravens and how they need to upgrade at that position. Paul told us in no uncertain terms that RGIII is not a lock to make the Ravens opening day roster.

Paul said that RGIII is going to have to prove himself to the squad and is anxious to work with Marty Mornhinweg who resurrected Mike Vicks career. Paul addressed the need for the Ravens to get help for Terrell Suggs on defense after the defense wasn’t able to hold off other teams down the stretch. Paul told Rick WR or TE would be a position the Ravens would look at in the second round. The Ravens have never has a need to reach for a player but rather take the best available. Paul picked OT Mike McGlinchey.
