The Morning Show w/ John and Hugh
Wednesday, April 24th
John Fricke and Hugh Douglas are joined by the Publisher of the NFL Draft Report and Co-Host of the Scout’s Honor Podcast, Dave-Te’ Thomas to preview the 2019 NFL Draft.

Thomas on what the Raiders may do, “If Chucky (Jon Gruden) had his way he loves Haskins (Dwayne Haskins)”

Thomas on the Falcons potentially trading up for Ed Oliver, “The Falcons could move up to eight and take Wilkins and put two Tigers next to each other.”

Thomas continued on the Falcons, “Atlanta should go defense first and follow up with an offensive lineman in Round 2.”

Thomas on Round 2, “With the rush on d-lineman and average quarterbacks (in Round 1), Round 2 will be about wide receiver, offensive line and safety.”

Thomas on Dexter Lawrence, “You have to look at that system. He was out and Huggins stepped in (in the Championship game against Alabama) and he brought his stock up.”

Thomas on what’s going to happen with the number one pick, “Mr. Murray has been living out here (in Arizona) for the last four weeks. Logic says he will be the number one pick.”

Thomas went on to say, “The Chargers are willing to give up their first round pick on Rosen (Josh Rosen).”

Thomas on who the Falcons will take at 14 if they don’t make a move, “Early they have to go with the meat. If I see Sweat there at 14 I would take him.”

Thomas continued on Montez Sweat, “Sweat is Khalil Mack.”
