Rick and John

Mon-Fri: 10AM - 2PM

Rick Kamla is a host on Middays, and got his first professional job in sports in 1994 as a writer for Fantasy Football Weekly. When that regional publication went national via Fanball.com in 1998, Kamla was promoted to senior writer for fantasy football and basketball. His edgy writing caught the eye of NBA TV bosses, who hired Kamla in January of 2003 to host “Virtual GM,” the first fantasy sports show in network television history. Rick is a long-time host with NBA TV and he still hosts “Fantasy Insider,” which is now the longest-running fantasy TV show of all time. Kamla's role with NBA TV has expanded to hosting the network’s flagship program “Gametime” as well as play-by-play for the NBA, WNBA, USA Basketball, D-League, Summer League and Euroleague.
